DEPUTY MINISTER OF HEALTH TRAN VAN THUAN INSPECTS MEDICAL OXYGEN SUPPLY FOR COVID PREVENTION IN HANOI

At 10:00 AM on February 23, 2022, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan, along with leaders from the Department of Medical Equipment and Construction and the Hanoi Department of Health, visited the manufacturing plant of Vietnam Industrial Gas JSC (Thanhgas) at TS09 Road – Tien Son Industrial Zone – Tien Du – Bac Ninh.

ThanhGas – Solid Rear Guard in the Pandemic Epicenter

THANHGAS – SOLID REAR GUARD IN THE PANDEMIC EPICENTER

Over the past month, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces have continuously recorded an increasing number of Covid-19 infections, with relevant authorities striving to implement various measures to contain the outbreak. Medical staff from across the nation were deployed to reinforce the pandemic epicenter, working tirelessly day and night at provincial and field hospitals. However, disease prevention and treatment face numerous challenges due to strenuous working conditions and shortages of medical supplies and equipment.

🏥 Joint Efforts in Building Covid-19 Treatment Areas

In response to this situation, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Industrial Gas Joint Stock Company (ThanhGas) directed all staff to unite and support the construction of Covid-19 treatment facilities at key hospitals and healthcare sites. The ThanhGas team worked actively and coordinated closely with relevant units to ensure timely handover, product supply, and zero delays in establishing field hospitals and treating patients. Technical personnel also directly entered epidemic zones and strictly complied with government isolation regulations upon completing their duties.

⚙️ Ensuring Timely Medical Oxygen Supply

ThanhGas undertook the preparation and installation of complete Liquid Medical Oxygen station systems, including storage tanks, vaporizers, pressure regulation units, and necessary equipment to support oxygen supply for Covid-19 patients. Furthermore, the company proactively guaranteed production and supply of medical gases to key areas whenever requested.
